New paper!
Congratulations to Rob Williams, who has just had his first paper as part of the lab accepted into the new British Ecological Society journal, People and Nature. The paper used Q method (a social sciences technique) to explore attitudes to European wall lizards in UK landscapes. |

Gio has had a third chapter form her thesis accepted - just in time for her viva examination on Monday! The paper describes an experiment looking at the effects of noise on the feeding behaviour of damselfly larvae. [LINK] |

Congratulations to Gio Villalobos, who has handed in her thesis! A final sprint to the end and a long night of work paid off, and Gio is just awaiting her viva examination later this month. Now it's time to read, read, and re-read, and starting getting those papers published! |

Congratulations to Gio on her second publication from her PhD, showing that the urban heat island doesn't seem to cause much of an advance in odonate phenology. Instead, dragonflies and damselflies emerge sooner in response to regional climate change. [LINK] |
